I believe counseling is a process that utilizes your strengths, the clinical relationship, and proven techniques to achieve symptom relief, increased self-esteem, and feelings of well being.

Often, life presents us with challenges that interfere with the way we feel and think. Sometimes these challenges make us feel anxious and depressed and lead to problems with our daily lives. At other times, we struggle with the transitions that normally occur in life, an “empty nest”, becoming a young adult, or maintaining intimate relationships.

Regardless of the reason, I believe counseling can provide you with the tools to manage and maintain a healthy, balanced life, the life you want. At our first session, you and I will spend time discussing the reasons you chose to seek counseling; then I will gather personal information so that we can tailor a treatment plan based on your individual needs and goals.
